During his first and only complete season with the Pacers (2002-03), Brad Miller made his first NBA All-Star Team becoming one of the first undrafted players to be named an All-Star along with the Detroit Pistons' Ben Wallace in the same year.

Don Buse had his best season in 1975-76, when he led the ABA in both steals per game (4.12) and assists per game (8.2) while also contributing a career high 12.5 points per game. He finished the season with a franchise-record 346 steals.

During his NBA playing years Chuck Person was known as "The Rifleman" due to his 3-point shooting ability and the fact that he was named after Chuck Connors, star of the TV series The Rifleman.

Mel Daniels won three ABA Championships, was a two-time ABA Most Valuable Player, a seven time ABA All-star and led the ABA in rebounding average in three different seasons.

In 2000-01, Jermaine O'Neal led the league in blocks (228, a franchise record) and led the Eastern Conference in double-doubles.
