In 1925, the Giants played their very first home game. Their opponent, the Frankford Yellow Jackets, would make the game a painful one, defeating the Giants 14-0 in their home debut. This knocked the Giants record to 0-3, having previously lost two games on the road. They would go on to win their next seven games before splitting the final two to finish their inaugural season 8-4.
During Week 12 of his rookie season, Odell Beckham Jr. came to national attention when he made a one-handed touchdown catch while falling backwards in a Sunday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys, which numerous pundits called the greatest catch ever made.
