After collapsing on the deck of the La Sirena, Picard wakes to find that he has "died" and now inhabits a synth body. Picard asks if this makes him functionally immortal, but Jurati explains that his new body is designed to live roughly the same number of years he would have lived naturally. Picard jokingly remarks that he wouldn't have minded another ten or twenty years.
