In the Cry for Justice limited series, JLA foe Prometheus destroys Star City and kills Roy Harper's daughter. After Prometheus tricks the Justice League into releasing him, Green Arrow tracks him down to his hidden lair and kills him with a single arrow right between the eyes.
In the early 1970s, Green Arrow teamed up with Green Lantern in an acclaimed series of stories by O'Neil and Adams that dealt with various social and political issues. The two co-stars served to represent contrasting sociopolitical viewpoints: Green Arrow spoke for radical change while Green Lantern was an establishment liberal figure, wanting to work within existing institutions of government and law.
In 2012, the live action series Arrow debuted on The CW, in which the title character is portrayed by Stephen Amell. The series earned positive reviews and launched several spin-off series, becoming the starting point for a DC Comics shared television universe.
More Fun Comics #73 featured the first appearance of Green Arrow, Speedy, Aquaman, and Mister Who.
Connor is the son of Oliver Queen and his former girlfriend Sandra "Moonday" Hawke. Connor Hawke first appeared in Green Arrow #0 (1994).
After Oliver's death, his son (Connor Hawke) took up the mantle of Green Arrow.
