When Belle wanders into the forbidden West Wing where the rose is kept, the Beast flies into a rage.
Belle notices a shredded canvas of a young prince, and soon sees the warm glow of the Beast's enchanted rose. When she tries to touch it, the Beast becomes aware of her presence and orders her to "Get out!"
Maurice's invention is supposed to chop wood, but he complains to Belle that he'll never "Get that bone-headed contraption to work."
He begins to develop feelings for her while she nurses his wounds and expresses his gratitude by giving her his entire library.
No one shoots like Gaston
Makes those beauts like Gaston
Then goes tromping around wearing boots like Gaston
I use antlers in all of my decorating
Say it again
Who's a man among men
And then say it once more
Who's the hero next door
Who's a super success
Don't you know? Can't you guess?
