The small town vibe in Lady and the Tramp was inspired by Walt Disney's hometown--Marceline, Missouri.
Although he also appeared in many films, including Breakfast at Tiffany's, Reed was best known as the original voice of Fred Flintstone.
As the Tramp character was developed by the Disney team, it was eventually decided that "I'm Free" no longer fit his roguish character as well as it once had. It was released as an extra when the movie came out on Blu-ray in 2012.
