Morton Slumber's mortuary business, Slumber Inc., is a front for diamond smuggling.

Bond is nearly burned alive in the cremation chamber, but Shady Tree and Morton Slumber stop the process when they discover that the diamonds in Franks' body are fakes planted by Bond and the CIA.

Bond checks into the Hotel Tropicana in Las Vegas after his close call in the cremation chamber. As he relaxes in the bathtub, he calls Felix Leiter and tells him to bring in the real diamonds in order to stir up some new leads.

At the craps table Bond meets the opportunistic Plenty O'Toole. After winning $50,000 and tipping her $5,000 for her assistance, Bond brings Plenty to his room, but gang members ambush them and throw Plenty out the window.

The objective of the water balloon race is to direct a stream of water from a water pistol into the mouth of a plastic clown head, filling its adjacent balloon until it pops. The game is intentionally rigged by the CIA to covertly transfer diamonds to Tiffany Case, concealed in a prize teddy bear.

A shape-shifting illusion at Circus Circus features Zambora, a girl who morphs into a 450 lb. gorilla. After the illusion is performed, kids run screaming from the booth, and Tiffany uses the distraction to ditch her CIA tail.

Realizing that O'Toole was killed after being mistaken for her, Tiffany decides it might be in her best interest to work with Bond.

Bond infiltrates the research laboratory, where a satellite is being built. When his cover is blown, he escapes by stealing a moon buggy and reunites with Tiffany.

The highlight of the Las Vegas car chase is the Ford Mustang Mach 1 balancing on two side wheels to drive through a narrow alley.

Bond scales the walls of the Whyte House to confront Whyte, but is met instead by two identical Blofelds, who use an electronic device to sound like Whyte. Bond kills one of the Blofelds, which turns out to be a look-alike.
