In Havana, Bond meets with Raoul, a sleeper agent who provides some information on Zao who is staying at a clinic on the island of Los Organos. When Bond departs Raoul's villa, he asks for a "fast car" and is allowed to borrow a 1957 Ford Fairlane convertible.
BOND: Oh, I'm just here for the birds. Ornithologist.
JINX: Aw, ornithologist, huh? Wow. Now there's a mouthful.
Dr. Alvarez offers DNA replacement therapy to a variety of criminal clientele, providing them with completely new identities. The painful "therapy" involves killing off the patient's bone marrow and wiping the DNA slate clean, creating a blank canvas which can subsequently be molded into almost any configuration. To achieve this, the clinic uses DNA harvested from orphans and runaways, people that "won't be missed."
When Bond fights Zao in the clinic, he disarms Zao by switching on an MRI, which magnetizes instantly, yanking the gun out of Zao's hand. Bond then switches the MRI off and grabs the gun.

VERITY: Feast your eyes on the finest player in the club.
BOND: Gustav Graves?
VERITY: His publicist, Miranda Frost.
GRAVES: Imagine being able to bring light and warmth to the darkest parts of the world. Imagine being able to grow crops the year round, bringing an end to hunger. Imagine a second sun, shining like a diamond in the sky.
She sends him a key, which opens a door that leads to an abandoned tube station. When Bond finds M waiting for him there, he remarks, "I heard of this place. I never thought I'd find myself here ... an abandoned station for abandoned agents."
